Samantha Asher
I am the founder of Journey with Me, an independent SEND support service for early years and primary settings, families and children. My work is rooted in a strengths-based, play-based approach that celebrates each child's unique profile, and in building warm, supportive relationships with the families and educators around them.
A career rooted in inclusion
With over 20 years of experience in early years and primary education, I bring extensive knowledge of supporting children with a wide range of learning differences, spanning communication, cognition, and social-emotional needs. My goal is simple: to ensure every child can access learning at their own level.
A true highlight of my career was co-creating and leading a dedicated service for children with emerging neurodivergence. Through this, I’ve had the privilege of supporting hundreds of children, families, and professionals, earning excellent feedback for the high quality provision and the strong, trusted relationships built along the way.
I work in close partnership with SENDCos, teachers, school leaders, and parents/carers to design highly personalized, impactful support programmes. I also deliver practical training across various settings, empowering both practitioners and families with realistic, sustainable strategies that they can confidently embed into everyday practice.
